1. Can all logical channels be displayed on the device screen?

Yes. The device can display 1, 2 or all channels on the screen, while the non-displayed channels do not cease to operate. By selecting "4 channels” option, all the channels are displayed on the screen, both active and inactive.

2. When displaying the measurements from 4 channels no graphical symbol of unit appears on the screen. Is there any other way of displaying units at measurements?

Yes, it is possible. In the 4-channel mode of display a four-editable text unit is displayed, designated in the menu as "Unit.txt". There is no possibility of displaying graphical symbols of units. This is caused by a smaller space available for displaying the given channel on the device screen.

3. Editing the name of a parameter with the keypad of the device takes very long time. Is there any other way of changing the name?

Yes. Changing of the name of e.g. logical channel can be made by means of the relevant MODBUS registers. The "S-Config 2” software is necessary for editing. It is a program used for simultaneous detection of equipment operating in many Modbus RTU networks and remote configuration thereof. The software is free and can be downloaded here.

4. Is it possible to change the thresholds of the relay while the access to menu is blocked, and without the knowledge of the user password?

Yes, provided that the option of quick access to relay’s thresholds and hysteresis outputs is activated. Otherwise, it is not possible from the keypad level of the device. In order to be able to make changes, the first step is to unblock the relay. In a submenu "Quick access" select "DO1" option and in it select “Edit” parameter which is to be activated. If the device has two relays, the activation of settings edition for the other relay is done in the same way as for the first relay.

Quick access to the parameters of the relay is achieved by pressing [ENTER] key during displaying of the screen with measurements. When this option for the given transmitter is switched off, then on display of its parameters a padlock symbol is visible in the upper right corner of the screen.

5. What is the meaning of messages "--Lo--" and "--Hi--" displayed on the device?

Messages "--Lo--" and "--Hi--" appear on the display of the device if the measurement result exceeds the allowable measurement range, depending on the direction of overfilling. Additionally, these messages may indicate a failure in the measuring track. In such case, the message "--Lo--" means a shortcut, whereas "--Hi--" indicates a discontinuation in the measuring circuit.

6. "ST" diode on the front is flashing. What does it mean?

Flashing of ST diode means that the scope of operational temperature of the display (-20°C to +70°C) was exceeded.

7. Is it possible to make the results of measurements in individual measuring channels be displayed in a loop on the screen?

Yes, it is possible. In the submenu "Screen layout” select "Ch.scr. [s] " option and set the time (in seconds) after which the view on the screen will change into the next channel or several channels (display depends on the selected method of screen subdivision in the "Mode” submenu). Value "0" means that the screen ceases toggling and stops on the last active view.

8. What are the differences between individual devices in ProSens 200 line?

ProSens 200 models differ from each other with lengths of the measuring probes. Model QM-211 has 40 mm long probe, QM-212 has 90 mm long probe and QM-213 has 145 mm long probe.

9. Is there a version of ProSens device supplied with 85-260V AC/DC?

No, all ProSens devices are supplied with 24V DC (11÷36V DC).

10. Has each ProSens device to be equipped with a display?

No, it is not necessary. ProSens 100, ProSens 200, ProSens 400 and ProSens 600 models may be manufactured without an LCD display.
